Behind-the-Scenes Award
The FHS PTO supports the school in encouraging great student character or performance. The Behind-the-Scenes Award is to provide an avenue to reward students whose efforts might otherwise go unrecognized. These include: continual support of a school program, a humanitarian act, perseverance or successful performance against great odds.
Members of the FHS faculty and administrative staff nominate the students. Nominations are open to all grade levels at FHS. The Behind the Scenes Award is presented at the faculty luncheon hosted by the PTO in May.
Faculty Scholarship
The PTO supports teacher education enrichment that enhances the education of FHS students. Teachers at FHS may download the attached application and submit it any time for training during the school year or by the end of the second week of May for summer training.
Faculty submitting a scholarship application must be a member of the PTO to be considered.
