A word from past membership chairman - Dee Finn:

It wasn't so many years ago that our high-schoolers were begging us to come to school to eat lunch with them or to ride the bus with them on field trips. Now, they roll their eyes in embarrassment every time we come to school. I have two pieces of advice for you: #1 – Do not take this personally, and #2 – Do not let this become your justification for not being involved in your child's education. They wanted us to be involved when they were small children; they need us to be involved now. The Franklin High School PTO gives you that opportunity. It provides a time and place for you to interact with school personnel as well as other parents who share many of those same concerns you have.

Please make plans to join PTO today. By paying the $5.00 family membership dues, we will be able to publish the FHS Parent Connection newsletter and fund other project/programs to support our goals. Even though you might not be able to actively participate in PTO, we encourage you to support PTO by paying the $5.00 membership fee.
