One of the goals of FHS PTO is to work with the faculty/staff at FHS to recognize and acknowledge student academic achievement. This year, the PTO would like to continue this program by recognizing outstanding efforts of students in the areas listed below (excluding accomplishments in sports since students are already being recognized by the media). PTO volunteers will write and mail a handwritten note to each student you submit. This project will be on-going throughout the year.

Some examples for acknowledgement in addition to good grades might be:

- a job well done on a research project - school club competition
- volunteer work - positive attitude
- work above and beyond what is required - significant improvement
- anything for which you would like to commend a student

Christina Sapp will oversee this program for PTO and a link to her email is found on our PTO homepage under Student Recognition Coordinator ( www.fhspto.org ). Simply print off this form, fill in appropriate information and place form in the PTO mailbox. If you do not use the form provided, be sure to include the student's name, class/grade and reason for recognition with any comments you would like included in the note.
