| PTO Meetings: Franklin High School PTO extends an open invitation for everyone to become involved. This year, we will meet quarterly on these days: Aug. 30, Nov. 1, Feb. 7, & May 9 at 8:30 a.m. in Room 202 Main Bldg. (Lisa Welch). An evening meeting will be scheduled in March (date TBA) that will focus on student drug use/risky behavior. |

of the PTO is to support the goals developed by FHS while
focusing on these key areas: communication and student recognition.
FHS PTO Goals
It is the goal of the Franklin High School PTO:
1. To increase parental awareness of student needs
and activities,
2. To recognize and acknowledge individual student's
academic achievement(s),
3. To provide information, which will enable parents
to be more effective, and
4. To honor and serve the teachers of Franklin
High School.

FHS PTO Everyone is invited to attend our next PTO meeting which will be held at 8:30 a.m. on May 9th in Ms. Welch’s Room 202 in the Main Bldg. At this meeting, we will assemble goodie bags for the FHS faculty/staff in celebration of Teacher Appreciation Week. Please call Terri Stenger at 369-5343 or email stengernc@aol.com if you would like to help bake cookies to show our faculty/staff how much we appreciate them.
Election of next year’s officers is also scheduled on May 9th, so please let Terri know if you would like to serve on the PTO board.
